A call for tender is open for the award of 1 Research Grant (BI - for students enrolled in a Master's or PhD, within the scope of the R&D project/institution (UIDB/04345/2020 CIP) Management Unit of the Research Center in Psychology ( CIP), Funded by FCT,

Admission requirements:

(1) Degree in Psychology, (2) Postgraduate or advanced training in Social, Work and Organizational Psychology, (3) Experience in experimental research and analysis of quantitative data and in support of research management, (4) Experience in diagnosis and intervention in the social and organizational context. Work plan

During the scholarship period, the following activities will be carried out: (1) Collaborate in the elaboration of instruments and data collection; (2) Coding and data analysis (SPSS and EXCEL); (3) Prepare informed consents and requests for opinions for the ethics committee; (4) Collaborate in the formatting and editing of text according to the norms of the selected journals for the submission of articles (5) Support in the preparation of 2 scientific products (1 poster and 1 article)

Workplace

The work will be carried out at the Management Unit of the Center for Research in Psychology (CIP/UAL) of the University of Algarve, under the scientific supervision of Professors Gabriela Gonçalves and Alexandra Gomes.

Duration of the scholarship(s)

The scholarship will last for 3 months, starting in October 2020. The scholarship contract can be renewed for up to 6 months, taking into account the new FCT Regulation – https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/ docs/RegulamentoBolsasFCT2019.pdf).

The amount of the monthly maintenance allowance corresponds to € 798.00, https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores. The maintenance allowance will be paid monthly by bank transfer.

selection methods

In accordance with the provisions of paragraph 2 of article 11 of the FCT Research Grants Regulation. IP, the evaluation of candidates focuses only on the following criteria: academic merit (40%), research experience and/or diagnosis and intervention in the field of Social, Work and Organizational Psychology (40%); other scientific skills (good knowledge of SPSS; scientific English) (20%).

Composition of the Selection Jury

The candidacies evaluation panel is made up of three effective members and 1 alternate (all PhDs):

Publication/notification of results
