Results of the competition for the attribution of research grants in psychology

Results of the Contest for the attribution of Grants within the scope of R&D Institutions – Research Grant (1 vacancy)

The call for a Research Grant (BIPD) was held within the scope of the R&D Unit – Psychology Research Center – CIP with the reference BIPD _2020_3 UIDB/04345/2020, in the scientific area: Psychological Sciences, scientific area specific: Psychology, with FCT/MCTES funding.

Of the four applications received, after evaluating the CV and the motivation letter, three candidates were selected for the interview phase: Elaine Santana, Genta Kulari and Rita Mourão (indicated in alphabetical order). Candidate Joana Santos was excluded.

After conducting the interviews with the three candidates, the jury classified them based on the following parameters: curriculum assessment (50%), interview (40%); motivation letter (10%). The results are as follows:

• Rita Mourão: 83.50 %
• Kulari Genta: 69.50 %
• Elaine Santana: 66.83%

The Research fellow with the highest ranking, candidate Rita Mourão, was selected.

In case of withdrawal of the selected candidate, she will be replaced by the next one in the final ranking list presented above, which for all purposes constitutes the recruitment reserve list and which will last for four months.
