Snoezelen was born in Holland, in the seventies, at the De Hartenberg Center. It aims to put sensory stimulation at the service of concrete goals for both neurotypicals and children with SEN, adults with anxiety disorders and seniors with or without dementia. The Forbrain Snoezelen Room is the first snoezelen room open to the public in Portugal and was created in 2014.
