A call for tender is open for the award of a scientific initiation grant (BIC) within the scope of the R&D institution, Research Center in Psychology of the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa – CIP-UAL, with the reference CIP-PSI/04345/2013 with financial support from Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education (MCTES)

Admission requirements:

Degree student in Psychology with a minimum daily availability of 4 hours.

Workplace

The work will be carried out at the CIP-UAL – Center for Research in Psychology of the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, Luís de Camões (a) and at the places indicated for data collection – Greater Lisbon area

Duration of the scholarship(s)

The scholarship will last for 5 months, starting on January 16, 2016.

The scholarship contract may be renewed for a maximum of 6 months.

The amount of the scholarship corresponds to €385 according to the table of values of the scholarships awarded directly by FCT, IP in the Country (http://alfa.fct.mctes.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores).

Only the 10 candidates who obtained the highest average in the degree courses will be considered for selection. The selection tests include the following elements:

Motivation letter (5%), curriculum evaluation (15%), knowledge tests (20%), tests
group work (25%) and interview performance (35%)

Publication/notification of results

The final results of the evaluation will be published in a public place on the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa and CIP-UAL websites, with all candidates notified by email.
