POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIP (BIPD - Doctor) (1 vacancy)
Admission requirements:
Mandatory admission requirements: Doctorate in Psychology (Doctorate obtained in the last 3 years and at the date of application)
Eligibility of candidates: applicants must meet the eligibility conditions provided for in article 9 of the FCT IP Research Grant Regulation (2019).

– Experience in qualitative data analysis;
– Domain of the MAXQDA software;
– Publication of scientific articles with qualitative methodology;
– Fluency in writing in English.
Work plan
Work plan: Full-time research collaboration position “Intergenerational transmission of trauma in a military context: a mixed methodology study with military families“. Functions include collaborating in the transcription and subsequent analysis of qualitative data already collected; participate in the writing of scientific articles.
Goals to be achieved: Qualitative analyzes of interview transcripts and family genograms. Writing of two scientific articles for submission to an international journal.

Workplace
The work will be carried out in person at the premises of the CIP – Center for Research in Psychology, of the Autonomous University of Lisbon, Rua de Santa Marta, 47, 4th floor, 1169-023, Lisbon, gab. 403, under the guidance of Professor Rute Brites.
Duration of the scholarship(s)
Duration of 10 months, starting on March 1, 2023. A selection reserve list will be created, which can be used for a maximum of 4 months.
Amount of monthly maintenance allowance
The amount of the scholarship corresponds to €1686.00 monthly, according to the table of values of the scholarships awarded directly by FCT, IP in the Country (https://former.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/docs/Tabela_de_Valores_SMM_2022.pdf, and will be paid, monthly, by bank transfer, by the contracting entity.

Only the three candidates who meet the admission requirements and present the best results in the preferential factors will be considered for interview. Candidates will be evaluated according to the following weights: curriculum evaluation (70%), interview (20%) and motivation letter (10%). Only candidates with a weighted average equal to or greater than 15 will be admitted.

Publication/notification of results
The 3 candidates selected and admitted for interview are invited by email. The Public Notice and the final results of the evaluation will be published, through a list ordered by final grade obtained, in a public place on the websites of the CIP (https://cip.autonoma.pt) and of the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (www.autonoma.pt ), and the successful candidate will be notified by email. All candidates will be notified of the decision by email.

Failure to send any of the documents required in the application is a reason for exclusion (according to Art. 10 of Regulation No. 950/2019 on FCT Research Grants).
Complaint deadline
After the final decision, and notification to the candidates, it must be taken within 15 working days, or appeal to the highest executive body of the funding entity within 30 working days.
Final report: The scholarship holder must present, within 60 working days after the end of the scholarship, a final report of the activities, in digital format. This report must describe, in detail, all the activities carried out, the period of time occupied with them, the objectives achieved and the respective URL addresses (if applicable).

A competition was held for the attribution of a Research Grant (BIPD) within the scope of the R&D Unit – Research Center in Psychology – CIP with the reference BIPD _2023_1 UIDB/04345/2020, in the scientific area: Psychology, with FCT/MCTES funding.
An application was received, from Lisa Liliana Nunes Roque. After evaluating the documentation, the candidate was excluded, having obtained the Doctor's Degree more than three years ago. The contest ended without any candidate having been selected.
