A call for tender is open for the award of a research grant (BIPD – Doctor) within the scope of the R&D institution, Research Center in Psychology – CIP, of the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, with the reference UIDB/04345/2020, with financial support from FCT/MCTES through national funds (PIDDAC).

Admission requirements:

Doctor in Psychology and Master in Health Psychology, with articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals (minimum of 10). Preference will be given to candidates who present:

– Previous experience in funded research projects in the area of health psychology, specifically aimed at health professionals and who have focused interventions with them;

– Knowledge related to the development of assessment tools in health psychology

– In-depth knowledge of intercultural psychology, social psychology and intercultural communication

– Mastery of quantitative and qualitative methodologies (involving interviews in the health area)

– Mastery of quantitative and qualitative data analysis and publication of outputs;

– Domain of knowledge and experience in statistics applied to psychology using the software SPSS, AMOS and Process data analysis;

– Excellent command of the technical-scientific English language; satisfactory command of French and Spanish

– Knowledge about health promotion interventions in young populations

Work plan

Integration into an ongoing research project within the scope of Occupational Health Psychology, whose tasks include the statistical treatment of different types of data using software analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, as well as participation in the dissemination of results

Workplace

The work will be carried out at the premises of the CIP – Center for Research in Psychology, at the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, Rua de Santa Marta, 47, 3rd floor, gab. 304, under the guidance of Dr. Odete Nunes

selection methods

Only the 3 candidates with the best curriculum evaluation (CV), best evaluation of the motivation letter, and who meet all admission requirements will be considered for interview. The selection will result from an overall assessment based on the following weightings: curriculum evaluation (50%) , interview (40%); motivation letter (10%), measured through the analysis of the CV and the interview

Publication/notification of results

Candidates admitted for interview are invited by email. The final results of the evaluation will be published, through a list ordered by final grade obtained, in a public place on the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa website (www.autonoma.pt), and the successful candidate will be notified by email. All candidates will be notified of the decision by email.

Complaint deadline

After the final decision, and notification to the candidates, it must be taken within 15 working days, or appeal to the highest executive body of the funding entity within 30 working days.
