A call for tender is open for the award of a research grant (BIPD – Doctor) within the scope of the R&D institution, Research Center in Psychology – CIP, of the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, with the reference UIDB/04345/2020, with financial support from FCT/MCTES through national funds (PIDDAC)

Admission requirements:

Doctorate in Psychology (Doctor degree obtained in the last three years) and Degree in Psychology.

preference criteria

Publication of scientific articles as first author, in indexed scientific journals;

Experience in data analysis;

Fluency in writing in English.

Work plan

Collaboration in literature review, data analysis and writing of scientific articles under development within the scope of the “Transcultural Factors of Well-being” Project.

Workplace

The work will be carried out in person at the premises of the CIP – Research Center in Psychology, of the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, Rua de Santa Marta, 47, 3rd floor, gab. 304, under the guidance of Dr. Iolanda Galinha.

Duration of the scholarship(s)

Duration of 6 months, starting on April 1, 2021, possibly renewable.

The amount of the scholarship corresponds to €1,616 according to the table of values of the scholarships awarded directly by FCT, IP in the Country (https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores)

selection methods

Three candidates who meet the admission requirements and according to the preference criteria will be considered for interview. Candidates will be evaluated according to the following weights: curriculum evaluation (70%), interview (20%) and motivation letter (10%).

Publication/notification of results

Candidates admitted for interview are invited by email. The final results of the evaluation will be published, through a list ordered by final grade obtained, in a public place on the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa website (www.autonoma.pt), and the successful candidate will be notified by email. All candidates will be notified of the decision by email.

Application deadline and form of submission of applications

The contest is open from February 8 to March 8, 2021.

Complaint deadline

After the final decision, and notification to the candidates, it must be taken within 15 working days, or appeal to the highest executive body of the funding entity within 30 working days.

Results

On the thirtieth day of March, two thousand and twenty-one, the jury of the competition for the award of a Research Grant (BIPD) within the scope of the R&D Unit – Research Center in Psychology – CIP, with the reference BIPD _2021_1 UIDB/04345/2020, scientific area of Psychological Sciences and specific scientific area of Psychology, gathered at the premises of the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, at twelve o'clock. The present meeting was justified by the fact that the Jury was informed that the selected candidate, Rita Morais, withdrew from the competition to award the Scholarship. In this sequence, it was decided to replace her with the second candidate on the final ranking list, Alyane Audibert Silveira. Contact was made with this candidate, having informed her of her unavailability to accept the Scholarship. Thus, the contest was closed with no candidate admitted.
