Research Scholarship (BI - Mestre) 2020
Master in Psychology; Ph.D. enrollment in the field of Psychology or the like (at the date of hiring, the selected candidate must prove their enrollment in PhD).
- Previous experience in research projects in the field of psychology;
- Domain of analysis of quantitative and qualitative data;
- Experience of writing scientific publications;
- Domain of knowledge and experience in statistics applied to psychology using data analysis software SPSS, AMOS and Process;
- Proficiency in the technical-scientific English language (level C2 of the European classification) or mother tongue;
- Immediate availability.
Integration in a research project in Developmental Psychology; statistical treatment of different types of data using software analysis of quantitative data; writing and participation in the dissemination of results.

The scholarship is awarded under Law No. 40/2004, of 18 August, updated by Decree-Law No. 123/2019, of 28 August (Statute of the Scientific Research Fellow), and Regulation of Research Grants of the Foundation for Science and Technology, IP in force https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/regulamento.phtml.pt
The work will be carried out in person at the premises of CIP - Research Center in Psychology, of the Autonomous University of Lisbon, Rua de Santa Marta, 47, 3rd floor, gab. 304, under the guidance of Prof. Doutora Mónica Pires.
Duration of the scholarship (s)
Duration of 6 months, starting on February 1, 2021.
Monthly maintenance allowance amount
The amount of the scholarship corresponds to € 1074.64 € according to the table of scholarship values directly attributed by FCT, IP in the Country (https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores)
Three candidates who meet the admission requirements and according to the preference criteria will be considered for interview. Candidates will be evaluated according to the following considerations: curriculum evaluation (50%), interview (40%) and motivation letter (10%).

Form of advertising / notification of results
candidates admitted for interview are invited by email. The final results of the evaluation will be published, through a list ordered by final grade obtained, in a public place on the website of the Autonomous University of Lisbon (www.autonoma.pt), with the approved candidate notified by email. All applicants will be notified of the decision by email

The competition is open from 19 December 2020 to 8 January 2021.

After a final decision, and notification to the candidates, it must be taken within 15 working days, or appeal to the maximum executive body of the financing entity within 30 working days.
