A call for tenders for the granting of a research scholarship (BI– Mestre) within the scope of the R&D institution, Research Center in Psychology - CIP, of the Autonomous University of Lisbon, with the reference UIDB / 04345/2020, having financial support from FCT / MCTES through national funds (PIDDAC)
Research Grant (BI) (1vaga) 2021
Master in Psychology; Ph.D. enrollment in the field of Psychology or the like (at the date of hiring, the selected candidate must prove their enrollment in PhD).
Eligibility of candidates: candidates must meet the eligibility conditions provided for in article 9 of the FCT IP Research Fellowship Regulation (2019).
- Good knowledge of statistics;
- Good knowledge of the English language;
- Computer skills;
- High degree of autonomy;
- Strong motivation for teamwork;
- Previous experience in research and scientific writing.
Integration in the research projects “Study of the relationship between sleep characteristics, bullying, academic performance and behavior in the classroom of school age children ”and“Mindfulness, in a school context with children and adolescents ”. Specifically, carrying out work to support the development of the tasks provided for in the research projects, namely: Review of scientific literature; research programming and procedures with a view to collecting face-to-face and / or online data; recruiting participants and collecting data in person and / or online; organization and statistical analysis of research data; dissemination activities such as scientific writing (scientific articles); translation of scientific articles from Portuguese to English.

The scholarship is awarded under Law No. 40/2004, of 18 August, updated by Decree-Law No. 123/2019, of 28 August (Statute of the Scientific Research Fellow), and Regulation of Research Grants of the Foundation for Science and Technology, IP in force https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/regulamento.phtml.pt
The work will be carried out in person at the premises of CIP - Research Center in Psychology, of the Autonomous University of Lisbon, Rua de Santa Marta, 47, 3rd floor, gab. 304, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ana Gomes.
Duration of the scholarship (s)
Duration of 6 months, starting on April 1, 2021, possibly renewable.
Monthly maintenance allowance amount
The amount of the scholarship corresponds to € 1074.64 € according to the table of scholarship values directly attributed by FCT, IP in the Country (https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores)
Three candidates who meet the admission requirements and according to the preference criteria will be considered for interview. Candidates will be evaluated according to the following considerations: curriculum evaluation (50%), interview (40%) and motivation letter (10%).

Form of advertising / notification of results
candidates admitted for interview are invited by email. The final results of the evaluation will be published, through a list ordered by final grade obtained, in a public place on the website of the Autonomous University of Lisbon (www.autonoma.pt), with the approved candidate notified by email. All applicants will be notified of the decision by email.

The competition is open between 12 February and 12 March 2021.
Applications must be formalized by sending an application letter accompanied by the following documents: Curriculum vitae detailed (in Science Vitae format) that proves the candidate's experience, copy of the qualification certificate and letter of motivation. After a final decision, and notification to the candidates, it must be taken within 15 working days, or appeal to the maximum executive body of the financing entity within 30 working days.

A call was made for the award of a Research Grant (BI) within the scope of the R&D Unit - Psychology Research Center - CIP with the reference BI _2021_2_UIDB / 04345/2020, in the scientific area: Psychological Sciences, specific scientific area: P, with FCT / MCTES funding.
Four applications were received: Aline Francieli Griebler, David Oliveira, Inês Estácio Reis and Mariana da Fonseca Leitão.
The members of the Jury evaluated the documentation required for the selection process based on the required requirements (Master in Psychology; enrollment in a PhD in the area of Psychology or the like). Candidate Mariana da Fonseca Leitão was excluded for not having sent the required documentation in the call for tenders. Candidates Aline Francieli Griebler, David Oliveira and Inês Estácio Reis were excluded due to non-compliance with the requirement to enroll in a PhD in the field of Psychology or the like.
The contest was closed without any candidate being selected.
